Cryptocurrencies continue to change the financial landscape, offering individuals and businesses new opportunities, but also creating legal and tax challenges. Since 2018 Belarus has a special legal regime governing work with such digital assets, and it has undergone significant changes in recent years.
We are starting a set of articles dedicated to key aspects of legal regulation of cryptocurrencies in Belarus. The first one is dedicated to basic issues: what is cryptocurrency and how is it regulated in Belarus for 2025.
